Two items of note to note. Firstly, I just got home from meeting up with a friend in London whom I hadn't seen in 5 years! She was one of my really close friends but as she is from Israel regular face-to-face meetings were obviously out of the question and neither of us are the best at keeping in electronic or snail mail contact. The best part is that we basically picked up where we had left off, no awkwardness or anything.
The second item is that I finally got my hands on a Ditty Bops CD. Whatever I may say about Oxford Street (and I frequently do) is that bigger shops often do mean greater variety, in this case US imports, yay. I'm sure I could have easily got hold of the music using the web but there is a weird visceral joy in discovering a desired item in stock in a shop.
If only I could get rid of this stupid cold then life would be very good indeed. However when I stop and actually think about what I need to sort out in the next week, my to do list gets longer and longer and so much so that the thought of it makes me tense up even now. There were far too many ands in that sentence but oh well......
